Holly Kotlin, LMT

Holly graduated from The National Institute of Massotherapy and is licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board. She brings over 14 years of experience to Solon Massotherapy. Being a college athlete her self, she has done a lot of Sports and Deep Tissue Massage early in her career. She worked with the Mens Pro Beach Volleyball Tour, weekend sports events like Marathons and Tri-athlons, and with individual professional sports Athletes.

Holly has spent a few years working in one of the area's top rated spa, John Robert's. Here she has perfected the art of the relaxation massage. She is also accomplished in Hot Stone Massage as well as Aroma Raindrop Therapy which are all offered at Solon Massotherapy.

Holly has been trained in using the Synergie machine for diminishing the look and feel of scar tissue and stretch marks. After one treatment, clients have seen and felt improvements with numbness, rippling, and pulling of scar tissue. The machine is also adept at diminishing the look of facial wrinkles, and tightening and toning the neck and throat.

Janice Spoth LMT

Jan graduated from the Ohio College of Limited Medical Practice in 1991. She is licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board in Massage Therapy.

Jan worked as a massage therapist at Mayfield-Levering Physical Therapy from 1991-97. In 1991 Jan started a massage practice in Solon, Solon Massotherapy Associates. Jan was the women's massage therapist at Beachmont Country Club from 1996-1999.

Jan is certified in Maternity and Infant Massage. She has attended many courses including Timberlake Upper Extremity Massage Technique and Fibromyalgia Therapy. Jan's Speciality is Deep Tissue Massage. She is also experienced at Therapeutic, Hot Stone, and Relaxation Massage.

Jan is a certified instructor in the Synergie Massage System. She is using the Synergie machine for diminishing the look and feel of scar tissue and stretch marks. In 2008, Debbie sought a more clinical approach to bodywork and completed advanced certification programs in both Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Oncology Massage at the Colorado School of Healing Arts. Shortly after returning home to Ohio, she completed additional massage training at Cuyahoga Community College and was licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio in 2011. A fan of continuing education, Debbie studied Myofascial Release Therapy at The Ohio College of Massotherapy in Akron and she continues to study various massage modalities while pursuing the specialization of Oncology Massage. Debbie finds the proven benefits of massage for people who have received a cancer diagnosis to be profound and rewarding.

Debbie often integrates several massage techniques in order to meet the unique therapeutic needs of each person. She feels that everyone is worthy of the healing potential of compassionate and informed touch.

Jeff graduated from the national Institute in 2003. Focusing on pain management His massage techniques include Swedish massage, Neromuscular, Myofascial release, Post Isometric Stretching, Orthobionomy, and most recently Chinese massage and acupressure called Tui Na. He has worked along side DC Paul Bizjack at Family Chiropractic of Twinsburg for 7 years, as well as his own privite home practice for 10.

Now he has graduated from American Institute of Alternative Medicine, nationally certified through NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine), and is licensed in Ohio as acupuncturist. After 3 years of training and practice he has been able to apply this ancient art/science to help people with things like migraine head aches, gastric reflux, sciatica, anxiety, insomnia, and many other symptoms of imbalance that effect many of us every day.

After getting his start at Solon Massotherapy associates, he is pleased and excited to be working with them again. Jeff also practices out of an office in Columbus and Lancaster Ohio.

Kelly graduated from the Professional Master's Level Acupuncture Program of the American Institute of Alternative Medicine (AIAM) in Columbus, Ohio. She is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio.

Growing up in China, She often experienced the amazing effects of health care through minimally invasive procedures such as acupuncture, cupping, tuina and that influenced her to develop a strong interest in learning more about Traditional Chinese Medicine and finally becoming a licensed acupuncturist. She also completed an acupuncture internship at the Beijing Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine in Beijing, China.

Kelly is very excited to have the opportunity to share the natural healing and balancing art of acupuncture with patients at Solon Massotherapy.

Jan graduated from Kent State University with both her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing and has had a long and rewarding career in the nursing profession in a variety of clinical and administrative roles. She was attuned to the first level of reiki in 2012 while working at University Hospitals Case Medical Center and describes it as a transformational experience. She knew she wanted to continue learning and developing further with reiki and has since become trained in the Usui and Karuna reiki lineage as a master practitioner. While she no longer works as a registered nurse, she feels that practicing reiki is a natural progression on her journey to helping others. Reiki complements traditional medical care and is "one more tool in your toolkit" on one's quest for health and well-being. She is a member of the Reiki Membership Association.

Sandy has been a reiki master for eight years but has been doing energy healing since the mid eighties. She trained for reiki and became a master through the Heiwa Center in Mineral City Ohio. In 2016 she trained in Albany N.Y. with Tina Zion to become a medical intuitive. Her reiki has evolved over the years and she has developed a deeper level of energy work. She helps to release negative energy from the body thus releasing stress so the body can begin to heal itself. Sandy specializes with people that experience chronic pain, headaches and anxiety. She has worked for the Center for the Healing Arts for the past three years as a reiki and biofeedback technician and is very passionate about helping people heal through energy work.

McKala completed her reflexology training in 2002 at the Reflexology Certification Institute in Avon, Ohio. Over years of practice, McKala’s reflexology technique evolved to include a high emphasis on meditation. She’s discovered that quieting the mind while receiving the healing touch of reflexology elevates the spirit, facilitating inner knowing and peace. McKala also holds a BA in English from Ursuline College as well as certifications in pilates, aerial yoga and Zumba.

Reflexology is the practice of applying pressure to specific points on the feet and hands that correlate with specific areas of the body. Reflexology is used to alleviate ailments such as back pain, migraines, sinusitis, menstrual issues and stressed muscles. People find reflexology especially effective in relieving stress and anxiety.
